The column title(s) can be selected in the left sided scrolling list by clicking on them. Contiguous selections are made by clicking at the end of the range of titles wanted with the Shift key held down, and extra single titles by clicking them with the Command key held down. You can deselect in the same way, and can deselect all of the currently selected titles by clicking below the listed titles.
The following descriptive statistics will be calculated on the selected sample(s):
Count, range, minimum, maximum, mean, standard deviation, variance, median, first and third quartiles, interquartile range, sum and sum of the squares. Extra calculations, if appropriate, are geometric, harmonic and trimmed means, the coefficient of variation, kurtosis and skewness. These are not performed if you have checked the Show Simple Descriptive Stats Only check box in the Preferences... menu item (File menu).
